What this site collects, who processes it, and how to have it removed. Written to be read rather than to be survived.
LumID is a learning and development studio in McKinney, Texas. This site is mostly things to read and download. We collect an email address if you give us one, a message if you send one, and anonymous traffic statistics.
We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and we do not build profiles on visitors. The free worksheets are not gated — you can download every one of them without telling us anything.
The homepage inquiry form asks for your name, email, company, project type, and a description of what you are trying to build. It is submitted through Formspree, which forwards it to us by email. We keep it in our inbox for as long as the conversation is useful.
Email signups — new book releases, or the Peer-to-Manager course — are handled by MailerLite. We store your email address and which list you joined. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you.
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets cookies and records approximate location, device and browser. We look at it in aggregate; we are not trying to work out who you are.
| Service | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare Pages | Hosts the site. Sees your IP address in server logs, as any web host does. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Traffic statistics. Sets cookies. |
| Google Fonts | Serves the typefaces. Google receives your IP address when a font loads. |
| Formspree | Processes the contact form and forwards it to us. |
| MailerLite | Stores email subscriptions and sends the emails. |
That is the complete list. There is no advertising pixel, no retargeting tag, and no third-party tracker beyond the analytics above.
Product links point to Etsy and Amazon and carry a tag identifying which LumID page sent you, so we can tell what people find useful. Once you are on Etsy or Amazon you are covered by their privacy policies, not this one. The same applies to LinkedIn and Pinterest.
Google Analytics sets cookies to recognize repeat visits. MailerLite may set one if you interact with a signup form. Nothing on this site requires cookies to work — blocking them costs you nothing here, and every download still works.
If you are in the UK, EU, or California you have statutory rights over your personal data. We will honor a request under any of those regimes without asking which one applies — ask, and we will do it.
This site is aimed at working professionals. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly broaden what we collect and leave the date alone.
